On June 10, a group of seven, including Zhang Baoliang, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor; Li Benhe, Director of Binzhou Customs; and Gong Ping, Deputy Director of the Municipal Commerce Bureau, visited Chambroad Logistics to investigate the construction of the Inland Port Multimodal Transport Operation Center project (hereinafter referred to as the "Inland Port"). Wu Jiabao, Chairman and General Manager of Chambroad Logistics, gave a project report. County leaders including Gao Mei, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee; Tian Daojun, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Director of the County Party Committee Office; and Zhang Chuanke, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, accompanied the investigation.
Deputy Mayor Zhang Baoliang and his team investigated the Inland Port construction site, learning about the planning and construction overview. Chairman and General Manager Wu Jiabao gave a progress report on the project. Subsequently, both sides engaged in in-depth communication regarding the project's progress and construction during the epidemic.
At the symposium, Mr. Wu gave a brief report on the basic situation of the "Binxinou" China-Europe freight train and the construction and operation of the Inland Port. Zhang Baoliang, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor, expressed his high regard for the Inland Port construction. Relevant municipal and county departments should actively coordinate and increase support in terms of policies and funds to solve problems for the enterprise's project construction, maximize their leading role, and help the project progress efficiently and with high quality. All levels of customs departments should strengthen communication and coordination. Through the construction of the Inland Port, the foreign trade development environment should be further optimized, and foreign trade should be strengthened. Deputy Mayor Zhang Baoliang pointed out that enterprises should use the Inland Port construction to cultivate a comprehensive foreign trade service platform, seize policy opportunities, further study the direction of enterprise development, plan and construct in advance, create new advantages for enterprise development, accelerate the construction of the Inland Port, put it into operation as soon as possible, reduce the cost of foreign trade logistics for enterprises, optimize the transportation structure, and promote the increase and improvement of foreign trade in the city.
The construction of the Inland Port Multimodal Transport Operation Center project leverages the advantages of Boxin County's location and policies, and utilizes the comprehensive advantages of Qingdao Port International Logistics Co., Ltd. in sea-rail intermodal transport and inland port construction, as well as the advantages of Shandong Chambroad Logistics Co., Ltd. in terms of sites, routes, and cargo sources. Through the transportation mode of road-rail-sea multimodal transport, the port functions of Qingdao Port are advanced to Boxin.
In the future, Chambroad Logistics will rely on the Inland Port and customs supervision and operation sites to build a comprehensive foreign trade service platform, reduce the logistics costs of surrounding enterprises, drive foreign trade exports, promote transformation and upgrading, and achieve high-quality development.
